How PDR works - the technique behind it

PDR stands for Paintless Dent Repair. Metal deforms either elastically and springs back, or plastically and stays pushed in - PDR brings the plastically deformed panel back into its factory shape in a controlled way. Using a light board, the master projects reflection lines onto the surface: where the lines are distorted, that's where the dent sits. Then the metal is pushed from inside with fine steel rods or pulled from outside with glue technique until the mirror lines run straight again. No sanding, no filler, no paint.
